Queue system upgrade on Fram from 2024-04-24 10:00 CEST to 2024-04-24 10:17 CEST

We’re closing this maintenance notice, and will create a new one later.

The upgrade failed, and we have rolled back to the previous version. Running jobs shall not have been affected by this.

We will investigate the failure, and redo the upgrade at a later time.

This maintenance is now starting as planned.

The queue system (Slurm) on Fram will be upgraded to the latest version on Wednesday, April 24 at 10:00. Jobs will continue to run during the upgrade, but will be suspended for part of the time. It is also expected that the queue system commands will be unavailable for up to 15 minutes during the upgrade.
