This change is now completed.
Due to different fingerprints on the old and new login nodes, it is likely that you get a warning when logging in. The new fingerprints are:
If you are using strict host key checking you can delete the old NIRD keys from your local known_hosts file (e.g ~/.ssh/known_hosts) before logging in again.
Changes have been pushed in DNS now. We are waiting until it has propagated fully before resolving the maintenance.
You can now use hostname
login.nird.sigma2.no to access the new storage facility.
This maintenance is now starting as planned.
On Tuesday May 2nd login.nird.sigma2.no will start pointing to the new login nodes.
Old login nodes will still be accessible using login-tos.nird.sigma2.no and login-trd.nird.sigma2.no.
Note that login.nird-lmd.sigma2.no will still work for some weeks but will then be removed.
