Information

We have noticed an issue with incoming tickets to [email protected], where lines of text are “disappearing” upon arrival (either partially, or whole email - we receive empty mails). Based on some internal testing and testing from users (thank you!), we have discovered that it occurs when:

  1. Text is formatted before sending: Specifically text which is between lines of #####s, and even some markdown (though unpredictable interval) formatting.
  2. Email that is forwarded to us, alongside with new text.

We are unsure of what is causing this, but are troubleshooting our gitlab instance at the moment.

As a temporary solution, when sending email to [email protected] please avoid having any type of formatting to your emails, and when forwarding, please copy the contents to e.g. “notepad”, and copy it back to the email as plain text (currently the only format working 100%).

Apologies for the inconvenience this causes! We will try to fix this as soon as possible, and update the opslog.
